  Let me preface my review by giving some background about myself. I come from an engineering trade’s background & usually do all of my own & my family’s vehicles servicing & repairs. Over the last 50 years or so I have worked in various roles & also operated my own businesses in the building/engineering fields. In short, I’m a very hands-on, practical & capable person, with a finely-honed BS detector & not easily impressed.
  
  When the clutch needed replacing on my 4WD I decided to do a bit of research as to the options to outsource it as it is a heavy, cumbersome job to do at home by yourself without a hoist & mechanical lifting equipment.
  Online reviews narrowed my search to a few possibilities, one of which was Oxenford Service Centre.
  I then asked a friend who also owns another local automotive related business & he says over the years he had heard nothing but good reports from his customers who use Oxenford Service Centre.
  I phoned to inquire about a quote to replace the clutch. Michelle efficiently attended to my inquiry - the pricing was reasonable, a booking made for the following week & a courtesy loan vehicle organised. My vehicle was ready as scheduled – a thoroughly pleasant & efficient experience.
  
  Fast forward a few months however, when a couple of issues arose.
  This is when the true colours of any service business are revealed, plenty can talk the talk, but many aren’t able to back that up with positive actions.
  
  From the outset, the attitude of the quietly spoken, very experienced business owner Warren Woods, workshop foreman Kevin & the entire team was exemplary. They took ownership of the situation, were accommodating of my varying schedule and did extra work without charge as a tangible apology for the inconvenience, whilst ensuring a courtesy loan car was available.
  In short they went well beyond what might have been reasonably expected to resolve the issues & ensure a positive outcome.
  
  THAT IS HOW TO OPERATE A SERVICE BUSINESS!
  
  Having witnessed first-hand their interaction with a diverse range of customers during my visits, I can attest that they treated everybody with courtesy, honesty & respect. Their communication is clear & without jargon for those not mechanically minded, the advice & recommendations offered were always on point & they never tried to do anything other than what was right by the customer.
  I am very impressed with & have no hesitation in recommending Oxenford Service Centre (which is also the local RACQ repair facility) whether it is for a minor repair, a routine service or something more major.
  Good old fashioned service with a smile.
